BACE (Bribie Aquatic Community Events Inc.) formed in February 2021. This a volunteer led organisation, hosts of the Bribie Classic Boat Regatta. BACE formalised a community desire to host events with an aquatic theme in the area and to showcase Bribie Island to surrounding communities. BACE also serves to contribute to the fostering of healthy communities and social well-being by promoting economical, social and environmentally sustainable events along the waters of Bribie Island.
